Doug Bing began his journey as co-founder of Blue Ribbon Builders nearly 50 years ago with the goal of helping people achieve their dream Montana lifestyle. A leader, listener, visionary, and hard worker, Doug carefully fostered the unique environment of Blue Ribbon from the very beginning — full custom work, done by skilled craftsmen. He aims to serve clients and exceed their expectations by earning trust, focusing on quality, and doing everything with care. Doug’s creativity, unmatched knowledge, and love for his work have brought to life many beautiful, functional mountain homes that continue to shine many years after the build process is completed. He works hard to understand the client and their needs, from lifestyle and tastes to value, and translates those intangibles into actualization. Building a home is a personal process for clients — and the rewards are personal for Doug. “How could you not love it here?” he says of living in Montana. Doug plays as hard as he works, hunting, fishing, skiing, boating, and camping his way around the mountains and rivers with his wife and children.
