Project Engineer
Ben Swain’s background in local, high-end residential carpentry and education centered around engineering concepts and construction management combine to make him a true asset to the Blue Ribbon team. Level-headed and detail-oriented, he brings both hands-on building knowledge and civil engineering experience to his role as Project Engineer. Ben is proud to help Blue Ribbon Builders serve clients through a vast body of building wisdom, and believes the combined years of experience and the collaborative philosophy are key to creating beautiful, functional, and valuable results. He loves seeing the whole team work together on solutions for complex needs. Ben is a Certified Associate Constructor (CAC) through the American Institute of Constructors. He loves being able to spend his days in beautiful places, and being part of the process of amazing structures coming out of the ground – and appreciates that working with Blue Ribbon Builders allows him to do both of those things on a daily basis. He is an avid fly-fisherman, mountain biker, trail runner, and skier, so on a “lazy day” outside of work you could find him on the river, but otherwise, you'll find him on the trail!
